For years, fans have speculated about when Camille Kostek and Rob Gronkowski will finally get engaged, married, or start a family. Kostek is hearing the noise, but she is no longer letting it shape how she sees her life. Speaking on the debut episode of PEOPLE’s new digital series WAG World, the longtime Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model reflected on how differently her real journey unfolded compared to the future she once imagined for herself. Instead of chasing timelines, she says she is finally learning to trust her own pace. Why does Camille Kostek feel pressure about marriage and children?Camille Kostek did not avoid the difficult part of the conversation. She admitted there are moments when she still compares herself to others and wonders whether she is “behind” in life."When I was 21, I definitely thought I would have been married with kids by now and sometimes I go back and I judge myself — or even now," she admits. "I'll be like, 'Wow, I'm behind.'"That feeling resurfaced during a recent Mother’s Day conversation with Gronkowski’s mother. Kostek asked when she had her first child and was surprised by the answer."I was talking to Rob's mom the other day. It was Mother's Day. I was like, ‘Remind me again when you had your first?' And she was like, 'I was 22,'" she shares. "I sat down and I was like, 'Oh my gosh. I'm so behind.'"But the conversation did not end there. Gronkowski’s mother reminded her that every person moves through life differently. That message stayed with Kostek because her own mother had her at 27, the same age when her modeling career finally started gaining momentum.Kostek said she never expected her professional life to unfold the way it did. She once imagined herself attending college in Los Angeles and even believed she might become a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Instead, she stayed in Connecticut, joined the New England Patriots cheerleading squad, and eventually met Gronkowski in 2013."Little did I know that that was going to lead me to meeting Rob," she says. "There's so many things that you just don't know and you don't expect, which is what I think makes life so sweet. It's just so unpredictable!"How is Camille Kostek handling public opinions about her relationship?Being in a high-profile relationship has brought constant commentary from social media, and Kostek admitted that outside opinions can sometimes become overwhelming."With social media or people feeling like they have access to myself or to Rob and giving their unwanted opinions, sometimes I'm like, 'Wait, I should be married right now? I should have kids. Should I just stop my career? What should I do?'"What has changed, though, is how she responds to that pressure. Kostek says she is learning to separate her own voice from public expectations."This is a reminder to self and a reminder to others that we are not meant to follow the same journey," she says. "There is not a book of life. There is not a right way to live and a wrong way to live. Just letting go and giving yourself that grace."Her outlook now feels less tied to milestones and more connected to confidence. After years of public scrutiny surrounding her relationship with Gronkowski, Kostek appears more comfortable allowing life to unfold naturally instead of racing toward society’s version of success.Stay updated with IPL Live Score and the latest IPL news on Times of India.
