What made this arrest all the more disturbing was the bodycam footage that emerged soon after. The video showed Hill being treated in a way many found disturbing. Where the situation began as a minor violation, the footage captured police officers handling him roughly and even forcing him to the ground. Hill was never seen to look the slightest bit anxious over his ordeal, and was actually dealt with much more aggressively than one would have thought warranted

Dropped Charges After Investigation

After two months of trials, the charges were dropped in favour of Hill. After some scrutiny of the arrest, following the viewing of the footage from the body camera in question, it had to be done. He maintained his case that he was treated towards no extent of necessity with his rights being violated during such a procedure. With facts and public outcry into his treatment, it ended there in the dismissal of the charge.
