An X account called BoofNewz shared a 1-minute-14-second video of Travis Hunter. The video was captioned:

“Travis Hunter released a very emotional video revealing that his wife, Leanna, is leaving him and filing for a divorce, and he has to pay her $350k a month because she refused to sign a prenup. ‘She promised she would never leave me. I’m so heartbroken. I’m gonna go broke now.’”

Whoever does not click on the video and try to truly understand the Jacksonville Jaguars star will fall for the trap of a divorce rumor. Hunter is not talking about his wife Leanna Lenee. He is talking about fishing and livestreaming. Here’s his actual monologue:

Travis Hunter is in a car, probably going to for fishing. And he’s kept his phone video on, livestreaming himself. He is thinking about livestream fishing. Because nobody livestreams fishing. There was a coach who spoke about Hunter’s boundless love for fishing a few months back.

In fact, it was Deion Sanders, the legendary cornerback, Travis Hunter’s Colorado Buffaloes head coach, and the father of Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders.

If it were true, why would Travis Hunter post a wholesome Instagram post wishing his beautiful wife Leanna Lenee, “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! I LOVE YOU THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST WIFE!!! 224!!!” And why would his wife comment on the public wish, “I love you.”
