Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoy quiet LA outing before potential Oscar weekend appearance
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were reportedly spotted together in Los Angeles before Oscar weekend, fueling speculation about a possible appearance at Academy Awards afterparties. The sighting came as Kelce confirmed his return to the Kansas City Chiefs for another season, crediting Swift’s passion for her work as inspiration for continuing his NFL career.
Rumors about a possible Oscar weekend appearance started circulating after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were reportedly spotted together in Los Angeles. The sighting comes at a busy moment for both stars. Swift is celebrating the success of her latest music release, while Kelce has confirmed he will return for another NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs.Despite the spotlight that constantly surrounds them, the couple has stayed relatively low key in recent weeks. That changed when reports placed them at one of their favorite Los Angeles hangouts just days before Hollywood’s biggest night. The timing immediately sparked curiosity among fans who wonder if the high profile pair could make an appearance during Oscar weekend festivities.

According to entertainment gossip outlet DeuxMoi, Swift and Kelce were seen at the private Bird Streets club in West Hollywood on March 13. The pair reportedly spent time there with Swift’s parents, which only added to the buzz online. With the Academy Awards scheduled for March 15, speculation quickly followed about whether the couple could attend an afterparty tied to the ceremony.
Their connection to Oscar weekend is not entirely new. Two years ago, Swift and Kelce attended Gucci’s well known afterparty hosted at talent manager Guy Oseary’s home.
A guest who saw the couple that night told People, “They were on the patio and in great moods. She had a very happy, giant smile. He was protective of her and she was delightful and glowing — they seemed very happy together and loving the night.”Away from the Hollywood buzz, Kelce has also been reflecting on his football future. The star tight end recently agreed to a one year contract worth $12 million, with incentives that could push the total to $15 million. His decision to continue playing was not just about money. Kelce admitted that Swift’s passion for her craft helped motivate him.“We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately, we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions,” Kelce said on The Pat McAfee Show.“It’s amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and, on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does.”Kelce also explained that his choice to return came after careful reflection on his emotions and physical condition following last season.“I’ve made decisions based off of emotions, and, you know, they haven’t always played out the right way,” he said.“So I think taking a step back, letting the emotions settle down. The frustrations from the season, of course, I want to come back. Of course, I don’t want to end my career not making the playoffs, not having one of the best years, and definitely having a down year and all that. So I think taking a step back and letting it kind of build and, you know, what’s my desire? What’s my body feel like?“How did I feel going into this year versus coming out of this year, and where my body was at. And even letting it kind of settle, it still felt like I was hungry enough to get back at it… I hated the way that (stuff) ended last year. And I want to do this. I want to make it right. And I want to get another chance at another Super Bowl.”
