T.J. Watt shared the happy news on InstagramAnnouncing the happy news via an Instagram post with a carousel of photos, the former professional soccer player captioned the post, “February 2025”. They also showed off ultrasound images. In one sweet snapshot, they posed with their dog behind them while they sat on the steps with big smiles. “We can't wait to meet you baby,” Dani wrote in her Instagram Stories on Sept. 1, underneath a photo from the shoot.
Six years into dating, T.J. and Dani tied the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in July 2022. The couple had ocean views and one tender moment on the dance floor at their reception. The couple's first names were projected as a shadow at the outdoor venue. Dani confessed she never thought that she would meet anyone who would change her last name. “When I was a little girl I never thought I’d find someone special enough to ever change my last name”, she captioned a photo. “But I found him and couldn’t be happier to share a name with the man of my dreams Rhodes ➡️ Watt.”

He was a fourfold finalist of the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, winning in 2021. He tied Michael Strahan's 22.5-sack record for most sacks in the single-season. He is the younger brother to the three-time Defensive Player of the Year JJ Watt and former fullback Derek Watt.
Dani was an American former professional soccer player. At the collegiate level, she played for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she was selected to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team in 2016. Rhodes made her NWSL debut with the Chicago Red Stars in September 2020 and went on to appear in three of four matches during the 2020 Fall Series. In July 2021, Rhodes signed with Þróttur Reykjavík of the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild kvenna. She scored Þróttur's third goal in the Icelandic Cup semi-finals in her début. Rhodes announced her retirement from soccer in February 2023.
