Stefon Diggs’ legal scandal with former private chef takes a new turn as he reportedly tried to avoid authorities amid Cardi B standing up for herself

Stedon Diggs, the New England Patriots’ star player, has found himself in a messy legal scandal as his former chef has accused him of physical violence and has also dragged Cardi B into it.

Even as Stefon Diggs has strongly denied all the accusations made against him, it seems that when the complaint was initially lodged, the Dedham Police Department was seemingly ghosted by Stefon Diggs for a few days.

Stefon Diggs might not have been available for police authorties after his private chef accused him of physical violence

As per NBC Sports, the complaint filed against Stefon Diggs in the Dedham Police Department by his former private chef, it states that the police tried contacting him a couple of times as all the calls directly went to voicemail.



The police report claims that the police officer asked Stefon Diggs to call back after telling him about the complaint.

However, it took them three days to get a hold of Stefon Diggs and he ended up making a court appearance on 30th December.

Stefon Diggs denies all accusations as Cardi B makes her decision clear

While Stefon Diggs has been accused of strangling and being physically violent towards a private chef on 2nd December, he has strongly denied the accusations.

Stefon Diggs’ lawyer, David Meier, issued a statement to E! News, which read as, "Stefon Diggs categorically denies these allegations. They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated—because they did not occur.”

The statement added, “The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee's satisfaction. Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law."

When Stefon Diggs was asked about the incident in public, he refused to comment on the case as he remains focus to be there for his team, the New England Patriots.

Meanwhile, Cardi B has finally broken her silence about being dragged into the mess as she posted that she had never asked the former private chef to drop the matter.

For the unversed, in the police complaint, the former private chef had accused Stefon Diggs “girlfriend” of asking her to end the matter, as Cardi B denies it.
