The actress gave fans a quiet but personal look into life with her newborn daughter through a heartfelt Instagram post shared Monday. While she and Josh Allen have largely kept their daughter out of the spotlight since her birth in April, Steinfeld offered a few carefully chosen moments from their first weeks as parents. Another featured the infant wearing a polka dot onesie with fruit-themed footies. The remaining photos captured handwritten cards, a breakfast spread and a decorated Mother’s Day cake.


“A day late but simply obsessed with this ��,” Steinfeld wrote in the caption.


The post landed differently from the polished celebrity family reveals often seen online. There was no grand announcement attached to it. The photos felt small, domestic and intentionally private, which may explain why so many fans connected with them so quickly.

Among those reacting was her Hawkeye co-star Jeremy Renner, who shared his excitement in the comments.

“Happy New Mothers Day !!! ������������❤️❤️❤️❤️. I am so very happy for you,” he wrote.

Steinfeld first confirmed the birth of her daughter through her Substack newsletter titled Special Delivery. In that message, she shared how deeply emotional the experience had already become for both her and Allen.

“Our baby girl has arrived!!” she wrote in the newsletter. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”

Allen has also spoken openly about how fatherhood is already changing his outlook. During an April press conference, the Buffalo Bills quarterback said becoming a parent has reshaped both his personal and professional mindset.

“I do think this is going to be the best version of myself in all aspects—in my professional career and my personal life. It’s such a blessing,” Allen said before praising Steinfeld. “I’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife that’s doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates.”

For now, the couple appears committed to keeping most of their family life private. But with just a handful of photos, Steinfeld still managed to show how much has changed since welcoming their daughter.
