The Mahomes may be ringing in the holiday season early and with good reason! The Chiefs won their 15th one-score game, thanks to Mahomes’s long drive that ended with a 31-yard field goal by Matthew Wright on the final play that led to the Chiefs winning the game.
Randi Mahomes Shares Christmas Plans After Chiefs Win 9th Consecutive AFC West Title After Win Over Chargers
The Mahomes family’s matriarch and Patrick’s mum Randi Mahomes shared her Christmas plans and even involved her followers in the conversation. Eager to make the most of her trip, Randi reached out to her followers to ask for suggestions on things to add to her Big Apple itinerary so she doesn’t miss out on anything the city has to offer during Christmas. Randi took to the social media platform X to write, “Headed to NYC soon to see for Christmas… suggestions of must do? Don’t want to forget something.”
Most fans supported Randi’s decision to celebrate Christmas in New York City and shared a few Christmas Day recommendations. Many suggested visiting famous locations such as Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, while others listed must-try restaurants and tourist destinations.
A few weeks ago, Randi took to social media to share her travel anxieties with her followers. “Haven’t even boarded and they tell us it’s gonna be bumpy ride…” she wrote, accompanied by a nervous emoji. The post quickly attracted the attention of her followers and they even suggested some tips to calm her nerves.
Though Randi may have spent Christmas away from her kids and grandkids, a few days ago, the mother of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback shared a sneak peek of her Thanksgiving celebration with her kids and grandkids. The NFL mom shared an adorable picture of herself with her famous son Patrick. “Family, football and celebrated Thanksgiving with my kids and grandkids today #blessed #godisgreat,” she mentioned in her caption.
As for Patrick Mahomes, he will be participating in his second-ever Christmas Day NFL game. The Chiefs will face off against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium, marking the first-ever NFL Christmas Day matchup to be featured on Netflix.
Last year, he played against the Raiders on December 25 but lost the game after throwing a pick-six.
