Brittany Mahomes showed up at the Kansas City Chiefs' training facility at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, with Sterling (four-years-old) and Bronze (two-yrs old).
Reporters Pete Grathoff and Tammy Ljungblad of the Kansas City Star noted that
“the kids got to see dad at work”, a rare treat since
“bring your kids to work day” normally falls during NFL offseason and doesn’t often coincide with training camp.
Photographer Tammy Ljungblad captured a touching photo of Patrick Mahomes with their young son Bronze on the field. It was a candid, charming moment showing a father at work and a family connecting in between drills.
Brittany Mahomes’ visit was small but meaningful: a reminder that family stays close even while the season begins.

Patrick Mahomes’ football status remains strong. In mid-July 2025, ESPN surveyed NFL coaches, executives, and scouts, and ranked Patrick Mahomes as the No. 1 quarterback in the league heading into the 2025‑26 season.
While Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills came in at No. 2 and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 3 in those rankings, Patrick still got about 60 percent of first‑place votes, less than past years, but enough to hold the top spot.
Analysts mentioned that although Patrick Mahomes’ dominance dipped slightly in percentage of first‑place votes, he continued to lead the NFL in passing categories since 2018.
That includes yards, touchdowns, and yards per attempt. One coach remarked that
“tier one quarterbacks are historically good,” and Patrick Mahomes still sits at the peak of that tier going into the new season.
