Patrick and Brittany Mahomes return from vacation just before Chiefs training camp
On July 15, 2025, paparazzi spotted Patrick and Brittany Mahomes leaving Mexico after a family vacation in Los Cabos. They were flying back to Kansas City with their three children: Sterling, Bronze, and Golden.
Patrick Mahomes carried luggage in one hand and a water bottle in the other, while Brittany Mahomes held Golden in her arms. The trip also included a Fourth of July yacht party in Miami, where Patrick Mahomes showed off his summer physique and Brittany Mahomes posted happy family photos on Instagram.

The team will then travel to Brazil for their season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5. Despite a fun family break, the clock is ticking for Patrick Mahomes to shift back to football mode.

“dad bod” while on the yacht with Brittany Mahomes and their friends. He even joked about it on social media after a locker-room photo went viral earlier this year. His trainer, Bobby Stroupe, later defended him, saying the extra body fat is useful for quarterbacks facing heavy contact.
Xavier Worthy, a Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, noted a change in Patrick Mahomes’ mindset after the Super Bowl loss. He said Patrick Mahomes was
“in a different mode right now” and
“locked in” as he returned to family time then focused on football.
