Just a few hours ago, Rashee Rice’s ex girlfriend, Dacoda Jones, took to her social media to post a few stunning pictures of hers.
Dacoda Jones looked stunning in a white colored dress as she posed for the camera. But it was her caption that seems like a cryptic note.
The caption of the post reads as, “Not perfect, but damn close..”
At this point in time, neither the Kansas City Chiefs’ Rashee Rice nor his ex girlfriend has issued any individual statements about the scandalous lawsuit.
What happened between Rashee Rice and ex girlfriend, Dacoda Jones?
For the unversed, a few weeks ago, Dacoda Jones sparked panic when she posted several pictures of her bruised bosy and face as she detailed the pain she has tolerated for months.
While she did not name Rashee Rice in her previous post, fans were quick to link it to him since the two also share a child together.
Now, Rashee Rice has been accused of brutally assaulting her physically for 18 months between 2023 to 2025 while she was also pregnant with their child.
According to ESPN, the lawsuit filed against Rashee Rice states that, "Rice has grabbed, choked, strangled, pushed, thrown, scratched, hit, and headbutted Ms. Jones, as well as hit her with inanimate objects…”
However, Rashee Rice’s legal team has strongly denied such accusations against the star player.
A few hours ago, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Rashee Rice’s legal team issued a statement that said, "On October 9th, 2025, well after the parties' relationship had ended, Ms. Jones stated under penalty of perjury in a sworn Affidavit for Non-Prosecution that 'Mr. Rice and I had a verbal argument, but he did not punch me…'"
The statement added, "We will allow the legal process to run its course and have no further comment at this time."
At this point in time, the Kansas City Chiefs have not yet made a decision about Rashee Rice’s career in the team.
The team has issued a statement about being aware of all the charges filed against him as it “remains in communication with the NFL”.
