The incident, which occurred in the second quarter, resulted in a 15-yard penalty in the Chiefs' thrilling 25-22 overtime victory in Las Vegas on February 11.

Bolton's fine, confirmed on Monday, was the sole penalty issued for an infraction committed in the championship game. While Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed received a personal foul for unnecessary roughness during the game, he did not incur a fine.

In a standout performance during the Super Bowl, Bolton, 23, tied with San Francisco's Fred Warner for the game-high with 13 tackles. Additionally, Bolton contributed one tackle for loss and delivered two quarterback hits against the 49ers.

Drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Bolton has quickly established himself as a key defensive presence. In 41 career regular-season games (37 starts), he has amassed 352 tackles, two sacks, and three interceptions, showcasing his impact on the field.
