The Baltimore Ravens are exploring ways to boost their offense after hosting free agent tight end David Njoku. Per the latest NFL trade rumors, the former Pro Bowl player, who spent nine years with the Cleveland Browns, visited Baltimore on March 17, 2026. Njoku offers size, speed, and versatility, making him a strong complement to Mark Andrews and a weapon Lamar Jackson can rely on. This move could change how defenses approach the Ravens’ passing game.

Njoku, 29, has a history of big plays. A first-round pick from Miami in 2017, he ranks third in Browns history for receptions (384), sixth in touchdown catches (34), and 12th in receiving yards (4,062). His Pro Bowl season was in 2023 with 81 catches for 882 yards and six TDs. Despite battling injuries in 2024 and 2025, he remains one of the top TEs available in free agency.

Spotrac projects a two-year, $19 million deal with an average of $10 million per year, giving Baltimore an immediate impact without hurting cap space.



Njoku’s ability to line up in-line or out wide allows the Ravens to run 11 personnel packages and force defensive mismatches, giving Jackson more options on every play.


Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Njoku’s visit. “Browns free-agent TE David Njoku visited today with the Baltimore Ravens,” Schefter said on March 17, 2026.

Two athletic TEs would allow the Baltimore Ravens to spread the field, create space for skill players, and maintain the run-first philosophy that defines the team.
