Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's drama takes a new turn as her past alleged affair with Redskins' GM Scot McCloughan resurfaces

Mike Vrabel, the New England Patriots’ head coach, and Dianna Russini of The New York Times have found themselves in major trouble after photos of them at an upscale hotel sparked outrage.

The two were spotted relaxing together and sharing a hug which has convinced fans that they are having an alleged affair. Though both Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini have denied such rumors, an alleged old affair of hers has resurfaced.

Back in 2015, The New York Times’ Dianna Russini had found herself in a similar position when the then Washington Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan’s wife, Jessica McCloughan went public on her social media account about her husband’s alleged affair with Russini.



For the unversed, back in 2015, Dianna Russini had posted on X how Kirk Cousins will be the starting quarterback of the Washington Redskins, replacing Robert Griffin III during the NFL season.

Interestingly, the then Washington Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan’s wife, Jessica McCloughan, responded to the post as, “I’m pretty sure this info is coming from my husband to his new side chick, Dianna…”

But that’s not all; Scot McCloughan’s wife, Jessica McCloughan, also alleged that her husband and Dianna Russini were having an intimate relationship then.

While these posts have sparked shockwaves across the league, Scot McCloughan’s wife, Jessica McCloughan, promptly deleted her posts and even publicly apologised.

Jessica McCloughan had issued a statement that read as, “I deeply apologize for the disparaging remarks about an ESPN reporter on my personal Twitter account…The comment was unfounded and inappropriate, and I have the utmost respect for both the reporter and ESPN.”

She added, “I regret that my actions have brought undeserved negative attention to the Redskins organization and its leadership. My comments in no way reflect the opinions or attitudes of the organization, and I regret that my behavior has in any way negatively impacted the team and its loyal fan base.”

Later, Jessica McCloughan even deleted her Twitter account as Dianna Russini was supported by her colleagues across the league.

Neither Dianna Russini nor Scot McCloughan addressed the alleged affair rumors then.

A decade later, Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel are now getting brutally trolled even after they have explicitly denied having an affair.

For now, all eyes are on what Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel do next as fans feel they have been having an alleged affair for a long time.
