Kiya Tomlin took to Instagram to thank supporters of her fashion brand, writing, “The response to the Coach T Collection following Mike’s retirement has been overwhelming — in the best way. Thank you for the incredible support!” While the Steelers have not officially confirmed Tomlin is done coaching for good, the message added momentum to the belief that he is stepping away, at least for now.


Kiya’s earlier Instagram post, following the retirement, focused on Tomlin’s legacy. She wrote, “As many of you are aware, my husband has stepped down from his position as Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers…I am incredibly proud of all he has accomplished…Over the past few days, the messages and testimonies shared by current and former players…have been deeply moving

Kiya explained that the Coach T Collection was created to share those lessons with a broader audience, before closing with gratitude for Pittsburgh’s support. In her recent post, she announced that the company will open a limited pre-sale of The Standard is the Standard hoodie, which will start shipping from February 1.

Meanwhile, The Athletic recently reported that various TV networks are lining up job opportunities for Tomlin, and FOX was the most likely favorite to land him. It also reported that he can get multi-million dollar offers from big TV networks, including ESPN, NBC, CBS, and Amazon Prime Video.
