Crosby revealed his recovery plan on the January 20, 2026, episode of The Rush With Maxx Crosby podcast.

“We’re going to f****g crush this rehab better than any of the rehabs we’ve done before,” Crosby said on the show. “I know I’ll be back in June, around that time, fully. So yeah, we've got a long road ahead.”

The Raiders' defensive end confirmed he underwent knee surgery earlier this month. The procedure was performed in Los Angeles and handled by Dr. Neal ElAttrache. He is the same surgeon who previously worked on Crosby’s knee and labrum.

Crosby said he had planned the surgery back in September 2025. He delayed it so he could finish the season with the team. The injury first happened on October 19, 2025, during a game against the Kansas City Chiefs. From that point on, Crosby rarely practiced at full speed.

Despite that, he still played through most of the season. He admitted on the podcast that his knee never felt right after the Chiefs game. But he chose to stay on the field while the Raiders pushed through a challenging year.

Rehab officially began in mid-January. Crosby said he already feels progress and called the early results “incredible” during the same podcast episode. He also shared that he now spends most of his time in recovery sessions, strength work, and physical therapy.

Off the field, Crosby said he uses the downtime to stay with his daughter, Ella. He also thanked his partner, Rachel, for supporting him through the process.

The June timeline matters for Las Vegas. That puts Crosby on track for full participation in training camp, which usually begins in late July. If rehab stays on schedule, he should avoid missing any major offseason program.

For the Raiders, this update brings relief. Crosby remains the face of their defense and one of the most consistent pass rushers in the NFL. His return in June gives the team some hope ahead.
