Kylie Kelce shared with Michelle Obama on her podcast how she follows the important practice of adequate rest after Jason Kelce retired from NFL playing. Through her Not Gonna Lie podcast Kylie shared her experiences of early motherhood chaos before discovering bed routines which she considers vital just as Michelle does.
The discussion between the two mothers on March 19 resonated strongly with parents who were listening. The night routines recently discovered by Kylie who has three daughters Wyatt and Elliotte together with Bennett and another child on the way match those of Michelle Obama.
Kylie Kelce relates to Michelle Obama’s sleep habits
Kylie Kelce has been refreshingly honest about the struggles of motherhood, admitting earlier this year that she experienced severe baby blues after her first daughter’s birth. This vulnerability makes her endorsement of Michelle’s structured bedtime habits even more meaningful.
The former First Lady, who raised Malia and Sasha Obama, shared her thoughts on sleep, saying: "Bedtime is the best time of the day. My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesn’t understand."
Kylie couldn’t agree more. She revealed that slipping into cozy sheets after a long day of parenting is a sacred ritual—a much-needed moment of peace before doing it all over again the next day.

Beyond just enjoying the comfort of a soft pillow, both Kylie and Michelle recognize sleep as a necessity, not a luxury. Michelle explained how she cherished her children's bedtime routine, saying: "Bath time, seven o’clock, bedtime 7:30, and then I had at least a couple of hours where nobody was asking me for anything."
Kylie requires this strict form of organization to stay afloat. Her role as a busy mom who is expecting her fourth child makes her understand that rest enables her to keep herself physically and mentally well.
