Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has finally addressed the growing chatter around his personal life. Over the past few weeks, social media linked the Rams star with fitness influencer Sara Saffari. Clips of the two spending time together quickly went viral, pushing Nacua’s dating rumors into the spotlight.

Nacua stepped in to cool things down. While speaking on the “One Night With Steiny” podcast in early March 2026, the receiver made it clear the speculation had gone too far. His response offered a straightforward explanation that shut down the online narrative.

Speculation began to build in late February. A video posted on YouTube by content creator Nick Nayersina on Feb. 23 showed Nacua and Saffari hanging out at a Topgolf venue in the Los Angeles area. The two laughed and chatted through the video. Friends in the group jokingly called them a “great duo” and even a “power duo.” Those comments quickly caught attention online and only added fuel to the Puka Nacua dating rumors.


Days later, another clip added more intrigue. On Feb. 28, a TikTok video showed the pair walking through an airport together. Nacua wore a black hoodie and sunglasses, while Saffari wore a green tank top. Some viewers even claimed the two were holding hands. The clip spread quickly across social media and fueled speculation even further.


Nacua addressed the situation soon after. During his appearance on the “One Night With Steiny” podcast in early March, he explained that he simply enjoys meeting people while living in Los Angeles.


“I’m just trying to meet some new friends and enjoy meeting people in LA,” Nacua said during the interview. “I should definitely use the private membership spot that I have more often. Invite all my new friends over there. I am currently single.”

Saffari also responded in her own way. When an Instagram post from MLFootball suggested the two were dating, she replied with a playful comment that caught attention online. “We’re siblings, chill,” she joked, brushing off the speculation.

This wave of rumors followed another headline earlier in the offseason. In late January, Nacua sparked curiosity after reacting to comments from actress Sydney Sweeney. In a magazine interview, Sweeney said she wanted a partner who would go skydiving with her. Nacua reposted the quote on X and wrote, “Love skydiving,” which triggered another round of fan speculation.

Currently, Puka Nacua appears focused on enjoying his offseason. And if his words hold true, the dating gossips are more about social media than his actual relationship status.
