Jeopardy! roasted newly-minted game show host Travis Kelce, during an episode on November 6. He said that the "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?" host, Kelce is more popular as Taylor Swift's boyfriend than a 3-time Super Bowl winner. The $200 clue was correctly answered quickly, which created some fierce chatter on social media.
Jeopardy! is a United States game show originating from Merv Griffin. It is a quiz contest that inverts the typical, question-and-answer format of many quiz shows, where contestants are offered general knowledge clues as answers, and contestants must identify the person, place, thing, or idea the clue describes, phrasing each response in the form of a question.

On Wednesday's show of "Jeopardy!, Travis Kelce, the host for the day and a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, was questioned if he is wittier than a celebrity. He's been going out with Taylor Swift. Derek quickly buzzed in to get the $200 clue. “Jeopardy was NASTY with Travis Kelce today,” one viewer posted via Twitter. Another wrote, “Jeopardy with some Travis Kelce shade tonight.”
Travis, 35, recently debuted as the host of Prime Video's Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, where contestants competed against a celebrity-studded classroom to win a $100,000 prize on various elementary school topics. Travis Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, surprised viewers on an episode of Jeopardy! Masters by reciting the lyrics to Salt-N-Pepa's song "Push It," referencing the Philadelphia Eagles' iconic Tush Push.
“I was a key part of our quarterback sneak known as the Tush Push,” Kelce said in a pre-recorded video. “So I always smile knowingly when I hear their song, ‘Ah, push it, push it good. Ah, push it, push it real good.’” Travis expressed his admiration for his older brother's line delivery on their "New Heights" podcast after the episode aired in May.
“It is flawless execution,” Travis said. Travis inquired about Jason's input on clues for his big game show appearance, including referencing his daughters Wyatt, Ellie, and Bennett. “Zero,” Jason said. “I just repeated like a parrot what the fine people at Jeopardy! told me to say. They came by and we recorded it in one afternoon. They made it very easy.”
