Kelce explained the play, which he played a significant role in, as the Eagles ran it on fourth and short in the fourth quarter.
“You have to one, make sure the snap is on point which is hard in itself when you're trying to lean and push and dive forward. And then on top of that you've got to somehow keep your feet moving and grinding. It's a fun play,” said Kelce. “I don't miss that. Not one bit,” Kelce said when asked if he missed running the play in retirement.

Kelce, despite not missing the Tush Push, was particularly energized when Philadelphia utilized it to secure a lead in the fourth quarter. “There we go!” said Kelce from the booth when Hurts was pushed over the goal line. Kelce had spent his entire 16-year NFL career with the Eagles, winning one Super Bowl, making seven Pro Bowls and earning six All-Pro selections.
Kelce played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats and was drafted by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft. He won Super Bowl LII, was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, and six-time first-team All-Pro selection. Kelce often is regarded as one of the greatest centers in the history of the NFL. Beyond football, Kelce and his brother, Travis, also cohost a podcast called New Heights, where they dive into their playing careers and many other topics. In 2024, Kelce joined the ESPN Monday Night Countdown pregame crew.

After considering retirement, Kelce re-signed with the Eagles on a one-year contract on March 15, 2023. In Week 6, Kelce broke the Eagles record for most consecutive starts that was previously held by Jon Runyan. He received Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro honors that year as well.
