"I’m Ready for a New Chapter"

It's Friday, and Kuch decided to take a moment to be open about what the last four years have been like for her. From constant moves, ups and downs of hubby's NFL career, through home renovations, and adding personal stressors, the ride has been quite wild.

“2025 is truly a year I’m hoping to 'get myself back.' The past 4 years have been so crazy with moving, new teams, new friends, A LOT of stress, football, no football, home renovations, etc. Basically just running around and not taking time for myself to find what I love and follow that.

Kuch expressed her excitement for the clean slate that January 1 represents, even if it’s just another day. She added:

“I can’t wait to have a fresh start (even thought January 1st 2025 is just another day) I’m truly going to use it as a new chapter. Idk if people can relate - moms or no moms but I’m just ready for a new year.”

A Journey Through Challenges

Kuch has been very open on social media, making her a relatable figure for many. Over the past year, she has shared her struggles with her mental health, the challenges of being a first-time mom, and the uncertainty surrounding her husband Isaac Rochell's NFL career.

Rochell, who was set to become a free agent in November 2023 once she left the Raiders, continues to struggle finding a spot on any NFL roster. This definitely has added to the angst Kuch wrote about having.

Motherhood and Mental Health

One of the most honest moments Kuch shared was in August where she spoke about how the breastfeeding had affected her mind during her first pregnancy.

She wrote:

"The way I know my mental health would improve if I stopped pumping, but at the same time, I think it would make my mental health worse. Also, how do you ween from breastmilk at one year? Go to a toddler formula? Straight to cows milk? Where is the manual? What did moms do before Google.

Kuch also described feeling stuck in a “negative space,” where bad things seemed to pile up:

"Side note: I feel like I'm in a weird negative space where bad/inconvenient things keep happening & then I feel like I sunk, so I attract more bad things. Like, hello universe, I'm trying to be positive over here, but you're making it hard."

Hope for 2025

As 2025 approaches, Kuch’s message resonates with anyone seeking a fresh start after a tough period. Her willingness to share the messy, unfiltered side of life makes her journey relatable and inspiring.
