Tony Adame of Heavy Sports recently reported that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens will enter the NFL’s 2026 free agent realm. Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report has listed Pickens as No. 1 out of the top 50 players entering the free agency big board. Contract Projection: Four years worth $124 million. This is because he proved to be a No. 1-caliber receiver next to No. 1 wideout CeeDee Lamb.

The 24-year-old recorded 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns in the 2025 season and earned his first Pro Bowl selection as a Cowboy. Spotrac reports Pickens signed a four-year, $6.75 million contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers in May 2022. It included a $2.09 million signing bonus, $3.1 million in guaranteed money, and an average annual salary of $1.68 million.

In May 2025, the 24-year-old wide receiver was traded to the Dallas Cowboys along with a 2027 sixth-round pick in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick. His base salary is $3.656 million, and his workout bonus is $2,205 for the 2025 season. He carries a cap hit of $3.658 million.
