The Tennessee Titans are reportedly considering trading wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, despite the team's current 1-4 record. Hopkins, aged 32, could still be a valuable asset for a winning team. Recently, two AFC teams made trades at the wide receiver position: the New York Jets traded Davante Adams, and the Buffalo Bills added Amari Cooper. Recently when Hopkins was asked about his interest in a potential trade, he responded with his admiration of his current situation.

DeAndre Hopkins, a star wide receiver with the Tennessee Titans, expressed his satisfaction with his current situation, despite rumors of potential trades, as he expressed admiration for his current situation on the team's website. "I love my life. I love where I am," Hopkins said as per Jim Wyatt of the team's website. "God put me where I need to be, and He always will. I play football.”
Several teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, have been linked to Hopkins, with ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reporting that they reportedly wanted him "badly" in free agency. The Pittsburgh Steelers may also be interested in Hopkins if he's available for a trade. Hopkins has had a poor start to the season, with 14 receptions and 175 yards in five games. His quarterback situation is less than ideal, with Will Levis having 699 passing yards and more interceptions than touchdowns. Hopkins leads the Titans in receiving yards but could have more if in a better offense.
Hopkins, a five-time Pro Bowler with seven seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards, is currently dealing with a torn MCL. While a trade for a better center might be easier, Hopkins is content with his current situation and has no interest in playing elsewhere. If he decides to change his mind, he will be a free agent in March. Hopkins, currently in his 12th NFL season, has recorded 14 receptions for 175 yards and one touchdown in 2024. He has also played for the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals, accumulating 942 receptions for 12,530 yards and 79 touchdowns.
