“I live between two worlds": Aaron Rodgers gets candid on lost relationships due to controversial views as Netflix drops trailer for new docuseries 'Enigma'
Aaron Rodgers has always been regarded as the enigmatic quarterback of the New York Jets. The man has challenged everything that is expected of an American sportsman through a combination of out-and-out talent on a football field and rebellion through outspoken nature and unorthodox beliefs. And now Netflix comes along to shed light on the life of this complex person with a forthcoming documentary series, "Enigma." The three-part series promises to present an in-depth view of the entire life journey of Rodgers on and off the field.
Ever since Aaron Rodgers made his return after an illustrious career with the Green Bay Packers, the future seems completely hazy. After being marked to have a booming comeback, the New York Jets ended up developing into what should be a disappearing 3-9, and the star of the 41-year-old has been argued over many challenges, some on and off. However, even though things are not well whispered about his staying as the number one quarterback, still is not an enigma due to his wonderful football legacy and that enigmatic personality.
It keeps all that interest up with a release of the trailer for Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, a three-part docuseries that is set to premiere by Netflix on December 17. The series is directed by Gotham Chopra and Liam Hughes and will explore all about Rogers' Achilles tendon injury rehabilitation program that brought an end to his season within moments of commencing, as well as a candid view of his personal life.
Rodgers' traits are very layered, apart from showing sporadic determination in the athletic field, with some introspective angles to it. From footage of his rigorous recovery process to scenes highlighting his spiritual practices, it is now up to viewers to come and see the duality of his life. As he stated in the trailer, "I live between two worlds of the extroverted and an introverted lover of silence," shedding light on the balance he seeks between public scrutiny and private reflection. “I’m trying to beat back Father Time and the expectations.”
Among such highlights in the preview is a most affecting conversation with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., hinting, as viewers would realize, at the venturing into politics on the part of Rodgers. The memory became even more poignant, though, when Rodgers thought about personal sacrifices and remarked, "Losing friendships, family. It was heartbreaking."

The series has, in fact, done whatever it could to confront the elephant in the room: the Achilles injury that benched him. Featuring vital comments from several sports analysts, the docuseries would analyze if Rodgers should consider his retirement or not.
