“I haven’t seen this before”: Travis Kelce finally breaks silence on Chiefs' jersey linked to Taylor Swift’s “Redwood” reference

This had sparked chaos among fans as many could not believe the billionaire pop star wrote such a song, considering how private she has been about her personal life. Amid all the speculations, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star player, Travis Kelce, has finally reacted to it.

In a new episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the two reacted to a fan wearing the Kansas City Chiefs’ jersey number belonging to the tight end as it carried the name “Redwood”.



For the unversed, the term “Redwood” is a cheeky reference to Taylor Swift’s lyrics, "Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see. His love was the key that opened my thighs…”, which fans have decoded to be a hint about her personal life with Travis Kelce.

In the new episode of the podcast, Jason Kelce reacted to the fan wearing the “Redwood” jersey and said, "How do we feel about this new trend? I mean, it works for the Chiefs."

Travis Kelce was spotted visibly blushing as he laughed at it and said, "It does, baby…You know it, man. It works. I haven't seen that nameplate before, but it's pretty good."

A few days ago, Travis Kelce also praised his fiancée, Taylor Swift, for the success her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, has achieved worldwide and broken a number of records.

In another episode of New Heights, Travis Kelce said, "Let's just give it up for Taylor real quick…She's done it again. She's put the world on tilt."

The Chiefs’ star player added, “Watching her go through all of her press tour, or radios, and all these talk shows, she's looked amazing, sounded amazing, and this album is absolutely amazing. And if you haven't heard it yet please go check out The Life of a Showgirl."
