It was Dick Jauron’s daughter, Kacy, who shared the news on her Facebook. She mentioned, “We are incredibly devastated to share the news that my dad has passed away. The past week has been one awful nightmare after another. The pain that I and everyone else who loved him is feeling right now is completely immeasurable. The very best son, brother, friend, teammate, husband, father, coach, HUMAN that we were all so lucky to love.”. Dick Jauron is survived by two daughters, Kacy and Amy.

Detroit Lions from 1973 to 1977 and the
Cincinnati Bengals from 1978 to 1980 as a safety.
The Yale University alumnus was drafted by the NFL in 1973 in the fourth round with an overall pick no. 91. Dick Jauron entered the coaching realm in the year 1985. Jauron began as a defensive backs coach for the
Buffalo Bills in 1985 and later went on to become a DB coach for the
Green Bay Packers between 1986 and 1994.
