It seems that Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb suffered an injury in his shoulder as he was targeted by a backup quarterback Cooper Rush at the end of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday's match. However, he was able to recover enough to return to the match and catch a pass to score a two-point conversion. He is due to undergo an MRI on Monday but is still expected to play in the NFC East contest next week against the Philadelphia Eagles. ESPN reported that Lamb suffered from an AC joint issue.

CeeDee Lamb will have an MRI on his injured right shoulder

Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will have an MRI on his injured right shoulder. Lamb is battling an AC joint issue in his shoulder. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones indicated that he hopes Lamb can play through the injury, as he did after the loss to the Falcons. Lamb was hurt during a first half catch when Falcons safety Jessie Bates' tackle jammed his shoulder into the turf. He played well and should go back into the lineup for the Eagles game next week.

Lamb was selected by the Dallas Cowboys using the 17th pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He is one of the third wide receiver selected after Henry Ruggs to the Las Vegas Raiders, 12th overall and Jerry Jeudy to the Denver Broncos with the 15th pick overall. Lamb signed a 4-year, $14.01 million contract with the team, with a $7.7 million signing bonus, and fifth-year team option on July 23, 2020.
Lamb made his NFL debut in the season-opener against the Los Angeles Rams on NBC Sunday Night Football, five receptions for 59 yards, in the 20–17 road loss. Lamb finished his rookie season with 74 receptions for 935 yards and five touchdowns to go along with 10 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown in 16 games and 14 starts. He finished second to Justin Jefferson among rookies in receiving yards.

Lamb concluded his second season in the league as a pro with a team-high 79 catches for 1,102 yards and six touchdowns on 16 games and 13 starts. He made his first Pro Bowl at the end of the season when he replaced Cooper Kupp, who was attending Super Bowl LVI. His fellow players ranked him 95th on the 2022 NFL Top 100 Players. On August 26, 2024, Lamb signed a four-year, $136 million deal with $100 million guaranteed and a $38 million signing bonus to stay with the Dallas Cowboys through the 2028 season.
