The Mississippi State Bulldogs alumnus was spotted watching the last bit of the AFC championship between the Chiefs and Bills from the bench. After watching his team's quarterback,
Patrick Mahomes, make the most of the last portion of the AFC and clinch the AFC title, Jones could not control his emotions, his tears.
He breathed too fast, sat down on the bench behind him, and shed a bucket full of tears for his team's win! Jones named that tearful breakdown "a very special moment for us".

At the press conference after winning the AFC championship title, the 3-time First-team All-Pro winner shared, "Pure excitement. Joy. Thinking about this year and everything we had to go through, the obstacles, the adversity we faced along the way- I wanted to soak it all in."
Jones also shared with Scott Van Pelt, Sportcaster for ESPN- "Just the magnitude of it, you can't really take it all in until the game is over. You have got so many emotions running through."

The envious franchise has signed the Chiefs' star defensive tackle, Chris Jone, for five years with a whopping $158.75 million contract. He even got selected for First-team All-Pro last year.
On a recent Pat McAfee Show, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke about the defensive tackle. He shared, "He's a bigger human being than I think people realize. He's really developed into a leader over the years. He was kind of a goofball when he was younger, but he's really turned into being a real positive leader out there, and I appreciate that part."
