A few hours ago, as per Rob Shuter, a source revealed that Ryan Reynolds had strong reasons not to attend Stephen Colbert’s emotional final episode of The Late Show with his wife, Blake Lively.


The source said, “Blake’s image is extremely polarizing right now, and Ryan knows it…”

The source added, “He didn’t want Stephen’s final show overshadowed by gossip, social media backlash, or questions about Blake. Going alone was the smartest move.”

As per Rob Shuter, the source continued, “The show had zero problem with Blake attending…She was welcome and fully expected at one point. Ryan simply decided it would be better if he flew solo.”

Now, many have linked it to the popular actress’ infamous fallout with the billionaire pop star, Taylor Swift, after the two remained best friends for close to a decade.

Over the last year and a half, the “It Ends With Us” actress Blake Lively has been brutally trolled as millions blamed her for dragging in Taylor Swift into her infamous lawsuit with Justin Baldoni.
