NEW DELHI: The National Football League (NFL) confirmed that Bill Vinovich will serve as the referee for Super Bowl LVIII, set to take place in Las Vegas on February 11.
This marks Vinovich's third Super Bowl assignment, having previously led the officiating crews at Super Bowls XLIX and LIV. Joining Vinovich in the officiating lineup for the championship game will be a seasoned group of officials.
Umpire Terry Killens, down judge Patrick Holt, line judge Mark Perlman, field judge Tom Hill, side judge Allen Baynes, and back judge Brad Freeman will be part of the crew overseeing the crucial calls during the high-stakes matchup. In addition, Mike Chase has been designated as the replay official for the game.
Perlman and Hill bring extensive Super Bowl experience to the crew, with this marking their fourth appearance in the championship game. For Chase, it is his second Super Bowl, and the remaining officials will be making their first appearances in the grand event.
With the NFL gearing up for Super Bowl LVIII, anticipation is building for what promises to be an exciting clash, and the officiating team, led by Bill Vinovich, is poised to ensure a fair and well-officiated championship showdown.
