Leader of the Rollin’ 60s Crips gang and father of LA Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley was found guilty on RICO charges in Los Angeles.
Daiyan Henley also known as “Big U” has been arrested on serious criminal charges such as murder, extortion, human trafficking, and fraud. This incident further led to the detainment of 18 other gang members.

Henley has huge fan followers which can be imagined beyond the streets. He is known for mentoring the late Nipsey Hussle as well but his legal troubles has cast off all the mark from his legacy.
This is not the first case leveled against the famous Big U, his legal issues might have driven him to life imprisonment. He is the father of LA Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley.
His son Daiyan Henley after a quiet rookie season surged into the year 2024 where he recorded 147 tackles. He is a versatile player and is known for his promising young talents in the NFL.
Big U was arrested on Wednesday, March 19 facing serious allegations. He appeared in court on March 22, 2025. He remained in custody for a further detention hearing on March 31.
In a video, Big U claimed that he was innocent and that these were just fake allegations and a curse of being a “black”. According to him, he was just trying to help is community to grow.
As per AP News, Big U was quoted saying in the video, “This the price of being Black and trying to help somebody, trying to help your community and do what you can. You just guilty because somebody else don’t like you.”
The Federal investigation has also tied his charity with these allegations which seem to act like a murder cover-up. Sources say, that if convicted, Big U could face a life sentence.
According to the Federal investigation, Big U was orchestrating a criminal operation known as the "Big U Enterprise” which involved trafficking, fraud, and even murder.
The investigation also reveals around an anti-gang nonprofit organization founded by Henley called Developing Options. He is also facing investigation for the murder of a rapper in 2021.
