Mason Rudolph said he was being framed in a viral video, saying he didn't have any direct messages with a former NFL cheerleader. Rudolph, hurt playing the Dolphins, was a key figure in the game as he completed nine completions for 85 yards. Even with his limited performance, Tennessee beat Miami 31-12. Joey Mauriello, a fan, posted a video of Rudolph's message to his girlfriend, Amanda Vance, in which he jokingly said that Rudolph is destroying his own team right before his eyes.

Mason Rudolph says he didn't have any direct messages with Amanda Vance


Mason Rudolph was replaced by injured starting quarterback Will Levis in a 31-12 win against the Titans at Miami Gardens. Rudolph has cleared the air on a viral direct message exchange with social media influencer Amanda Vance. Vance and her boyfriend Joey Mauriello, both endorsers of Jake Paul's Betr platform. Mauriello shared a video on social media from Hard Rock Stadium, revealing his girlfriend, with a message from Rudolph on Instagram. Mauriello joked about being down badly because Rudolph was destroying his team in front of his own eyes.

Rudolph revealed on Fox Sports Radio's Doug Gottlieb Show that former Steelers player Vance had initially messaged him, and that his flirtation was merely a response. “It was not an unsolicited slide into her DMs?” Gottlieb asked. “No, it was a response and it was about eight months ago,” Rudolph clarified. “It was definitely not in between second down going to third down, that’s for sure…” As Gottlieb laughed, Rudolph continued, “But a good frame job. A good frame job for a little 15 seconds of fame I guess.”

Rudolph played college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, where he was a three-year starter and won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award during his last year. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft.
