With just a day to go for the first Test match at Mohali, the Indian thinktank has cut a video CD to inspire the players ahead of the big clash.

"It is a 10-minute VCD showing the high-points of India''s tour to Pakistan last year. It was shown to the players at the team-meeting on Saturday," a source told TOI on Sunday.

It is also learnt that the VCD has songs to whip up patriotic fervour amongst the players.

"Yes, the VCD has songs like Vandemataram and Maa Tujhey Salaam playing in the background. Playing against Pakistan is playing for national pride more than anything else. There was complete silene as players watched the 10-minute VCD. The idea is to charge them up ahead of the first Test match and may be there will be some more motivational tools that we will use as the series goes along," he said.

The VCD has Virender Sehwag''s 309 in the first Test match in Multan, Irfan Pathan''s bowling exploits, Sachin Tendulkar''s 194 in Multan besides VVS Laxman''s knock in the last One-day International, L Balaji''s bowling spells et al. There are scenes of the dressing-room celebrations in Rawalpindi where India wrapped up the Test series 2-1. "The VCD is also made keeping in mind the players like Harbhajan Singh or Gautam Gambhir who were not a part of the team that won in Pakistan," the source said.
