The Bangladeshi opener smashed a 60-ball century as his team piled up an imposing 180 for 2.
Oman were never in the contest, chasing 181 for a berth in the main rounds of the World T20, losing opener Zeeshan Maqsood (0) in the opening over.

The rain returned with Oman at 41 for two in the seventh over.
After numerous delays, Oman's final target was 120 to win in 12 overs, but they only managed 659 in 12 overs.
Earlier, in-form Sabbir Rahman (44, 26b, 5x4, 1x6) put on 97 runs for the second wicket with Tamim (103 n.o., 63b, 10x4, 5x6) to lay the platform for the massive total in this Group A clash.
Consolation win for Dutch
DHARAMSALA: Paul van Meekeren bagged four wickets to help Netherlands notch up a consolation 12-run win via Duckworth Lewis method in their final match of the World T20 here. In the rain-affected game reduced to 6-overs-a-side, Stephen Myburgh struck an 18-ball 27 to help Netherlands post 59 for five.
