Walsh won't return to Sabina Park
JAIPUR: Has Courtney Walsh just given a 'Jamaican Farewell' to the Sabina Park? If the tweets by the Caribbean pace legend are to be believed, he has. The former West Indies captain who was denied entry to the famous Sabina Park last Friday has now decided not to visit the ground ever again.
Walsh, who has the North Stand of the Sabina Park named after him, was not allowed to enter the stadium, as he didn't produce a stadium pass.

And, that has left the pace legend in a state of shock. "The day I was fully embarrass at Sabrina park and deny entry. Fri April 26th I hope this never happen to ambassador holding," a miffed Walsh tweeted.
The Carribean pace legend, who has had some great moments at the Sabina Park, is even planning to remove his name from the North Stands. "Wonder if I can have my name removed from the same end I could not get in? Guess it was the security hour of power.who is to be blame??," he tweeted.
In order to avoid trespassers from entering the ground, the Jamaican Cricket Association has instructed the security personnel not to allow anyone without the entry pass, and according to sources, the 50-year old Walsh refused to show his card. But an insulted Walsh has already made up his mind not to visit the ground again. "My letter will be sent to ensure this, and I won't venture back to Sabrina park for a replay. Thanks much to JCA," he took to Twitter to express his woes.
And, ever since the incident has come to notice, the Walsh fans across the globe have showed their sympathies towards the bowling great. The JCA, however, sticks to its stand. According to reports, the JCA has defended their stance, saying that the 'security guards were instructed not to allow anyone without identity cards'.
The Jamaica Cricket Association might have its own 'rules' to follow, but those may not be enough to convince the pace great to return to his favourite Sabina Park. The ground which brought him into the limelight is now practically a no-entry zone for the West Indies captain. Life indeed, has come a full circle for Walsh!
