MUMBAI: Santosh Shinde turned in a match-winning performance, helping
Mumbai Police enter the semifinals of the Purshottam Shield cricket tournament.
He first bagged five Victory wickets for 81 runs and then hit 89 as he and Shrikant Limbole (106) guided their team to a four-wicket victory on Sunday.
The day's batting honours went to Sahil Kukreja (189) of Cricket Club of India who also entered the semifinal.
CCI hit up 333 against National at Cross Maidan. The others to enter the last four were Shivaji Park Gymkhana who beat Fort Vijay by seven wickets at Shivaji Park Gymkhana.
