VADODARA: Delhi leg-spinner Chetanya Nanda came up with yet another brilliant performance during the third day's play in the Irani Trophy here on Friday. Bagging his fourth five-wicket haul in his 24th first-class match, Nanda has taken his match tally to 8 for 108 from his 54 overs. His victims included Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Wasim Jaffer and his idol Anil Kumble himself.
Like Kumble, Nanda too is not a big spinner of the ball but likes to be constantly on the prowl.

"That's the key," said Nanda and added: "When you constantly keep hitting the right line and length, you are bound to be rewarded." And like his idol, Nanda too have a big heart.
"Today (MS) Dhoni hit me for a huge six but I was not perturbed because I knew that I was not bowling badly," said Nanda.
On match eve, Delhi coach Dahiya told a packed press meet that though they have no known names in the spin department people will come to know of Nanda after the match.
"I am extremely happy for him today. This is not any Ranji match against any minor opponents. He has bowled against some of the best batsmen in the world and has done well," said Dahiya.
"They (Dravid, Jaffer, Laxman et all) are all good payers of spin so I know that I might go for some runs but my aim was just to be consistent in my line and length," said Nanda.
