Neeraj, Arun shine for Madan Lal Cricket Academy

CHANDIGARH: Madan Lal Cricket Academy beat BTS Cricket academy by eight wickets in the inaugural match of the third DD Sharma All-India Cricket Tournament (under-15) at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Batting first, BTS Cricket Academy made 201 for the loss of eight wickets in 40 overs. Neeraj top scored (81 in 74 balls), while Satyam made 29 runs in just 14 balls.For Madan Lal Cricket Academy, Delhi Arun scalped three wickets by giving away 26 runs. Karanveer also scalped two wickets by giving away 48 runs in five overs.
In reply, Madan Lal Cricket Academy reached home (205/2) in just 35 overs. Ishan Chatterjee was the top scorer with 81 runs in just 102 balls. Krishna Gambhir also hit a fine half-century. He made run-a-ball 58.
For BTS boys, Shubham Chand bagged one wicket by giving away 35 runs while Ishan Mavi also scalped one wicket by giving away 26 runs. It was a keenly contested match but Delhi boys finally managed to come up trumps and register a victory in their name.
