Kaarthick to lead TN in first 3 Ranji matches
Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Kaarthick will lead Tamil Nadu in the first three Elite Group B Ranji Trophy cricket matches to be played next month.
Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Kaarthick will lead Tamil Nadu in the first three Elite Group B Ranji Trophy cricket matches to be played next month.
The state selection committee picked a 15-member squad for the away matches against Maharashtra, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association Secretary K S Viswanathan said in a release here on Saturday.
Former India player W V Raman would be the chief coach while D J Gokulakrishnan will be the assistant coach.
The team: Dinesh Kaarthick (Captain), M Vijay, Abhinav Mukund, K B Arunkarthik, R Srinivasan, R Prasanna, S Vidyut, S Suresh Kumar, R Ashwin, C Suresh, L Balaji, V Yo Mahesh, P Amarnath, C Ganapathy Chandrasekar, K H Gopinath.
