COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Cricket's executive committee is to discuss breach of contract by both captain Mahela Jayawardene and team manager Charith Senanayake.
A SLC release on Saturday said that both had acted in breach of their contracts in disclosing to the media their views with regard to the World T20 guarantee money.
Jayawardene, through Senanayake, had said that he had lost confidence in the local governing body.

In a letter published in the Daily Mirror, Jayawardene said, "as the captain of the national team I am disturbed and deeply disappointed that a confidential document handed over to SLC has been published in the Daily Mirror on December 19 causing much embarrassment to players and other staff members".
The newspaper report claimed that the SLC had rejected a request from Jayawardene to allow sharing of the guarantee money derived from the recent T20 World Cup with the team management and support staff.
"As a result of what has transpired I have lost all confidence in dealing with SLC in the future," the letter asserted.
The SLC response is that the decision to turn down Jayawardene's request was an executive committee decision and an adherence to standard practice.
