NEW DELHI: Chairman of selectors Kris Srikkanth was seen in an optimistic mood for the squad selected for the tri-series in Sri Lanka and the Champions Trophy in South Africa.
While speaking to Times Now, Srikkanth said, "It's the best possible squad for the Champions Trophy and the tri-series, we hope they will win the trophy this time."
The Indian selectors, headed by K Srikkanth, selected a 15-man squad on Sunday for the upcoming tri-series in Sri Lanka and the Champions Trophy in South Africa.
