Hogg ready to replace leggie MacGill

MELBOURNE, November 23: Australian leg-spinner Stuart MacGill's uncertainty to find a place in the team has bolstered the chances of Brad Hogg to play against India in the upcoming home series.
MacGill, down with a knee injury and bad form, is considering retirement, and is likely to be replaced by Hogg.
Hogg said he was in top form and eagerly waiting for his chance to play against India.
"This is the best I have ever bowled and I feel quite confident I can land the deliveries I want to land," Hogg was quoted as saying in 'The Age'.
Hogg was reluctant to discuss MacGill's injury but said the key factor in his own improvement was consistency.
"The wrong 'un has been reasonably successful, but that is because I have been able to build pressure on the batsman," said Hogg who had recently taken 13 wickets from the two Pura Cup games for Western Australia.
Budding South Australian spinners Dan Cullen and Cullen Bailey are not ready for Test cricket; Bailey, the young leg-spinner contracted by Cricket Australia (CA), has been dropped from the Redbacks team.
