KARACHI: Former coach Haroon Rasheed has withdrawn from the six-member PCB enquiry committee, formed to probe into Pakistan's recent drubbing in Australia.
Pakistan were whitewashed in both Test and One-day series Down Under and also lost one-off Twenty20 match in Melbourne.
Haroon on Friday confirmed that he had sent a request to the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board to not keep him on the committee.

"Yes, I have sent this request because of certain reasons," Rasheed, former Test batsman said without elaborating on his decision.
Rasheed is currently working as Director game development at the National cricket academy in Lahore.
Sources close to Haroon said that he was disappointed with the way things went at the hearing of the National Assembly Standing Committee on sports early this week.
"Haroon was at the hearing was totally disheartened and shocked at the way the hearing was held and personal barbs were exchanged between the PCB officials and the committee members," one source said.

The source said Haroon was also upset that some NA committee members questioned his credibility and work in the board.
"After having spent so many years working on the development of the game and in grooming junior players, Haroon is disheartened that his contributions were questioned by the committee," the source said.
The Committee will be headed by PCB chief operating officer Wasim Bari and will submit its recommendations to the board by the end of February.
Former players have already criticised the formation of the committee, saying that it had those officials whose own performance was under doubt.
