NEW DELHI:
Rahul Dravid has been named in Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) team which is to play a four-day match in Abu Dhabi under floodlights with pink cricket balls to launch the English season.
MCC would take on county champions Nottinghamshire at Zayed International Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi from March 27 to 30, a media release from the club said.

The featured balls have been newly developed by Kookaburra, with a pink G3 finish complemented by a white seam, and would be used for the first time in a first class fixture which aims to further develop the case for introducing day-night Test matches, the release said.
In addition to the four-day match, MCC - to be led by another former India captain
Sourav Ganguly - would later play against Nottinghamshire, Durham, Sussex and a select Fly Emirates side, in a Twenty20 tournament on April 1 in Dubai.
