Cooch Behar Trophy: Ashis claims hat-trick against Bengal

KALYANI: Off spinner Ashis Yadav claimed a hat-trick to help Jharkhand bowl out Bengal for 386 on day two of their four-day Cooch Behar Trophy elite group B match on Sunday.
At stumps, Jharkhand were 76 for one. Resuming at 206 for three, Bengal rode on a fine century by Sandipan Das (103, 232b, 17x4) and skipper Sudip Chatterjee's 79, before lower-order batsmen Krishnanand Singh (57) and Ravikant Singh (51) helped the team get past 350.
Yadav was the pick of the bowler as he dismissed Krishnanand Singh, Veer Pratap Singh and Rajesh Singh in quick succession.
