MELBOURNE: Dropped from the Australian squad for the first Test against West Indies, out-of-favour pacer Stuart Clark has expressed his desire to be a part of the next Ashes campaign in 2010-11.
Clark was the only casualty from Australia's Ashes defeat at the Oval earlier this year, when he was left out of the squad which plays West Indies on Thursday in Brisbane.

The lanky pacer said age is not a deterrent and he just needs to keep taking wickets in domestic cricket to earn his place back in the national team.
"I think it is pretty simple, take some wickets and hopefully a spot becomes available, there's probably going to be an injury because the guys that played in England at different times did a really good job and deserve their spots. Doug (Bollinger) bowled well in India, they went down that path," Clark was quoted as saying.
"As you get older, you start to wonder whether it is age but for him to say that shows I'm not out of the reckoning. Physically I am fine and mentally I know I still want to play for Australia and definitely want to be part of the Ashes again," added Clarke, who took 94 wickets at an average of 23.86 in 24 Tests.
