MUMBAI, August 20: In the coming days, the ICL could be announcing more names of players joining them.
Among those confirmed according to sources are that of former New Zealand stars Chris Cairns, Nathan Astle. Also on the list is discarded South African paceman Nantie Hayward who is currently playing for the celebrity club side, Lashings in UK.
The other players on the verge joining the league are Sri Lanka's Marvan Atapattu as also recently retired batsman Russell Arnold and paceman Nuwan Zoysa.
In some quarters, the names of Pakistan's pace duo Shoaib Akhtar and Mohd Asif have also been mentioned as players who might join.
Insiders reveal that in all "200 more" players are willing to join, but the organisers are yet to decide on them.
