MANGALORE: Former Zimbabwean skipper Heath Streak on Saturday said he found batting ace Sachin Tendulkar's defence hard to breach.
Streak said Tendulkar was the most difficult batsman that he ever bowled to after Australian opener Matthew Hayden and West Indian great Brian Lara.
To a question about Tendulkar's nomination as Rajya Sabha member, he said "I am certain that he will become a successful politician."
Describing Tendulkar as a person of integrity, he said, "Sachin has been successful in whatever he has done so far and (I am) certain that he would do the same in his new innings."
"I am certain that he would have a positive influence on society," he added.

On Tendulkar not running up impressive scores in the current IPL, Streak, here to play a T20 cricket match at NMPT Stadium on Sunday, said his fans want him to score a hundred every time he takes guard.
They must know that he is not getting any younger, he said, adding, Tendulkar was 39 and at this age, it becomes difficult for the body to compete and retain the same form.
