The former couple, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and his ex-wife, welcomed their firstborn daughter, Habiba Alcindor, also known as Habiba Jr., on May 15, 1972. She is a writer, producer, and dramatist, and made her debut with a short film, “Gold Rush”. She is a social justice activist and has contributed significantly to media outlets like “Huffington Post” and “The Nation”.

Abdul-Jabbar and Habiba Abdul-Jabbar welcomed their secondborn, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, or Kareem Jr., on August 23, 1976. He was passionate about basketball and wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. Kareem Jr. joined the college basketball team in the mid-1990s. He was a part of the American Basketball Association for the Los Angeles Lakers stars, and even played for the Lakers in the Summer League 2003.

The former couple welcomed their third child, Sultana Abdul-Jabbar, in April 1979. Unfortunately, her parents’ divorce made her live with her mother and two other siblings. Although their thirdborn have been mostly kept out of the spotlight, Sultana Abdul-Jabbar has still made rare appearances to support her father’s basketball career.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar and his ex-girlfriend, Cheryl Pistono, share a son, Amir Abdul-Jabbar, who was also born in April 1979 (according to some sources). He received his medical degree back in 2012, and thereafter became an Orthopedic and Spinal surgeon in Issaquah, Washington. When Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was diagnosed with leukemia back in 2008, his son helped him with the entire process of treatment.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar and his former girlfriend, Julye Olds, welcomed their son, Adam Abdul-Jabbar, on September 24, 1991. Jabbar’s youngest son appeared alongside him on “Full House”, an American sitcom, and competed with his dad on Celebrity Family Feud in 2017. However, after four years of living a glamorous life, he was sentenced to 180 days in jail for brutally stabbing a neighbour.
