The Cavaliers stunned the Warriors with a commanding 136-117 victory

In an exciting game, the Golden State Warriors were defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 19-point difference, losing 136-117. Darius Garland and Evan Mobley led the team to become the first in NBA history to score more than 110 points and win all ten of their opening games. The explosive offense of the team will break many records, and they are currently among the first season favorites. The Cavaliers established a franchise-record 41-point lead at halftime. The lead ties for the eighth biggest halftime advantage in the NBA's shot clock era. Ty Jerome scored 13 of his 20 points before intermission.

Darius Garland led the Cavaliers with 27 points, shooting 6 of 10 from 3-point range, and six assists. Evan Mobley added 23 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. Ty Jerome gave the bench 20 points. He hit all three 3-point attempts. Isaac Okoro added 16 points and made 4 of 6 3-point tries.

The Warriors, after a five-game winning streak, looked tired and made their fourth road stop. Jonathan Kuminga paced them with 21 points, and Stephen Curry added 12. Draymond Green also chipped in with six points and six assists as well. The Cavaliers showed no signs of lacking depth or failing to be efficient on the court, though All-Star Donovan Mitchell was off on this night. The ability of Cleveland to see a high score carry over from game to game is a sign of a balanced team effort-a team that can shine on any given night, even when stars don't.

The Cavaliers have started this season 10-0, setting a franchise record in the process and showing what it will mean to overcome that already. Next up for them is Brooklyn on November 9, and that will be a test of their momentum. The Warriors host Oklahoma City on Nov. 10 in hopes of righting the side which they had lost previously. This will be the 21st time in NBA history that two undefeated teams are matched.
